Myanmar (Burma)

Yangon, Mandalay, Amarapura, Bagan, Heho, Lake Inle

Experience the land of genuine kindness and golden smiles.

Myanmar (Burma) Photo Adventure Vacations – Inspire, Create and Learn.

Myanmar (also known as Burma) is known as the land of genuine kindness and golden smiles. You’ll experience the soft morning light and peaceful atmosphere of Myanmar, giving us a contemplative and creative time to connect to what we see.

Our journey will cover many aspects of Myanmar; Architectural monumental, landscapes, street and market scenes as well as portraits. We will photograph the amazing golden Pagodas, with abundance of devotional scenes happening from sunrise to after sunset. In Bagan, the morning light rising over the fog and the many stupas. Mandalay and the craftsmen markets (wood, marble, gold…) and the UBein Bridge. The Lac Inle, fishermen and the floating market, and the small villages where we will have many chances to meet with the local communities.

This adventure is designed not only to guide you to the most photogenic locations carefully planned for the best light, but to aid you in mentally visualizing a scene before capturing the decisive moment. Our aim is to raise your awareness and spark your creativity so that you not only go home with images to be proud of, but use your new found skills to improve and expand your photographic technique in general. Apart from the technical aspect of learning your camera settings and capabilities, you will learn how to turn an ordinary image into an extraordinary image by using your own creativity.

In addition, you will become knowledgeable on how to survey the landscape, utilize and approach your environment, photograph people indigenous to the region and the cultural considerations and challenges of photographing in a foreign country. Our week together will include individual and group discussions, inspiring ideas and great fun. Can you think of a more amazing location to express your creativity than the exotic land of Burma (Myanmar)?
